GLIDE is the heart and soul of San Francisco.
On December 4, 2014, The GLIDE Annual Holiday Festival will be a fantastic celebration at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco. The event benefits Mo’s Kitchen, the heart and soul behind GLIDE’s Daily Meals Program which serves up nearly a million free meals each year to San Francisco’s poor and hungry residents, and all GLIDE programs.
With live performances from the GLIDE Ensemble and Change Band, Joan Baez, Rita Moreno, Paula West and other special guest appearances. Post-concert reception with hors d’oeuvres and libations from some of the Bay Area’s finest restaurants and beverage companies
Honorary Co-Chairs include Dr. Maya Angelou,* Joan Baez, Richard C. Blum, Honorable Willie L. Brown, Jr., Dr. Bill Cosby, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Felicia and Ben Horowitz, Dolores Huerta, and Phyllis Lyon.
* Dr. Maya Angelou had consented to serve as an Honorary Co-Chair and planned to join us in December. We keep her present because she is a legend who lives on.
Tickets are available through the San Francisco Warfield Theatre Box Office/AXS. You may also purchase tickets in person at the Warfield Theatre Box Office (Sundays 10 am–4 pm and all show nights. On show nights, the Box Office opens 90 minutes prior to show time. To purchase tickets for The Warfield without service charge, please visit The Warfield Box Office during any hours of operation. Tickets are not exchangeable. No refunds.
