ROBIN WILLIAMS ADDED TO LINE-UP OF GLIDE’S ANNUAL HOLIDAY FESTIVAL, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2

“Bringing Down the House” a Night of Comedy at the San Francisco Warfield Theatre

SAN FRANCISCO, CA  - GLIDE is pleased to announce that Robin Williams has just been added to the line-up of “Bringing Down the House,” GLIDE’s Annual Holiday Festival - a night of laughter, celebration and generosity on Thursday, December 2 at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre. Along with Robin Williams, the evening festivities will feature W. Kamau Bell, Selene Luna, Johnny Steele and the GLIDE Ensemble and Change Band to benefit Mo’s Kitchen and GLIDE’s programs.

Each year, GLIDE’s Annual Holiday Festival raises funds for Mo’s Kitchen and GLIDE’s programs.  Mo’s Kitchen is an integral part of how GLIDE helps San Francisco’s poorest residents by serving up nearly one million meals per year.

"It's time for us to all come together and share a good laugh -- and remember how to bring joy to each other this holiday season -- to our family, our friends and those less fortunate," said Rev. Cecil Williams, GLIDE’s Founder and Minister of Liberation. "We are thankful to Robin and our talented comedians and entertainers who remind us to keep smiling, who buoy our spirits so we can help others."

Tickets for “Bringing Down the House” range from $65 to $500 with sponsorships ranging from $5,000 - $100,000. Individual tickets are available at Ticketmaster and through GLIDE.org. For more information and to purchase VIP tickets and sponsorships please call 415.674.6072, email festival@glide.org or visit GLIDE.org.

Honorary co-chairs of Bringing Down the House include Richard C. Blum, Janice Mirikitani, California First Lady Maria Shriver, Rev. Cecil Williams and Robin Williams.
