FAMILY, YOUTH, AND CHILDCARE SERVICES
Families without adequate support often find themselves bending or breaking from the pressures of daily living. The goal of Glide's Family Services programs is to support the entire family unit. Glide provides an extended family to grow with and a community to draw strength from. Everyone--from youth to seniors--is given the resources they need to realize their own power and potential.
The Janice Mirikitani/Glide Family, Youth and Childcare Center (FYCC) provides children and their families with licensed childcare (infant, toddler and preschool age) and after-school programs including tutoring, computer instruction, creative arts, mentoring, counseling, advocacy, case management, and nutrition education. Many of the families have experienced homelessness and substance abuse; they are struggling to improve the families’ situation. Click on the links belwo to learn more about FYCC's programs.
