This week we will be celebrating Indigenous People’s day with a special excerpt from the new play “Sovereignty” about the Cherokee Nation performed by the Marin Theatre Company.

In his sermons and in his teachings, Marvin brings a word of encouragement to GLIDE, for everyone to keep on moving towards the liberation of their imagination. He brings and articulates a vision of prophetic, creative and social justice, that everyone can grab hold.

On the first Sunday of every month, GLIDE offers Communion in the Sanctuary immediately following the 11:00 am Celebration.

This week we will hear from Rev. Harry Louis Williams: minister, social activist & author. Rev. Harry leads Bible Study on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. Outside of GLIDE, Harry’s accomplishments range from quelling street-level conflict, for which he received a proclamation from Oakland, to authoring six books.
