Each year, GLIDE’s holiday events bring critically needed services, build community, and spread holiday joy to GLIDE’s community of clients, staff, supporters, volunteers, and congregants. In accordance with public health recommendations, we have made significant modifications to these events this year in order to serve our community safely while still maintaining the GLIDE spirit of connection and celebration.
The communities we serve are among those that have been most impacted by COVID-19. Throughout the pandemic, GLIDE has been there to provide the support and care needed to help them get through this challenging time. The way we deliver our services and help might look a little different right now, but our work to provide hope, nourishment, and support has not stopped.
There are still many ways to get involved!
This page will continue to be updated as details finalize.
We are excited to welcome volunteers back onsite to GLIDE for our Holiday Events this year! Click here to sign up now, or visit our FAQ page for more information. Please note that we are only welcoming fully vaccinated volunteers aged 18+ for onsite opportunities at this time
There are also many other exciting ways to volunteer for GLIDE remotely such as hosting drives for much needed community items and/or organizing a fundraiser for GLIDE with your family and friends. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 415-674-6081 to learn more about what we need and how you can help!
