This weekend, Cecil would have turned 95 years old. At the 11 am Sunday Celebration Service, Minister Marvin K. White, Dr. Gina Fromer and Kimberly Williams will be honoring Cecil’s Birthday at Glide Memorial Church.

San Francisco Public Defender, Mano Raju, will be speaking at both the 9 and 11 am Celebrations this Sunday. After the 11 am Celebration, he will also speak about “How Community Defenders Work with Community to Further Liberation, Safety, and Health through Justice.”

GLIDE’s Center for Social Justice is working hard to spread democracy. Our final workshop on Rank Choice Voting is scheduled on Sept. 24. We continue to phonebank every Thursday in support of Proposition 6. And we’re out tabling through September and October to help get out the vote!
