Our Workforce Development Philosophy
GLIDE’s Workforce Development strategy is built on four core principles:
- Person-Centered Services
Every participant receives individualized service plans based on their strengths, interests, goals, and aspirations.
- Coordinated Care
Employment success requires more than technical skills. We coordinate supportive services, case management, coaching, and referrals to help participants address barriers in ten different life domains and attain the stability necessary for long-term employment.
- Career Pathways
We focus on careers—not just jobs. Participants gain the skills, certifications, industry exposure, and employer connections needed for long-term career growth and economic mobility.
- Employer Partnerships
We work closely with employers, labor unions, educational institutions, apprenticeship programs, and community partners to create direct pathways into quality employment opportunities.
