Women’s History Month

At Glide Memorial Church we honor the spirit of our literary ancestors, Janice Mirikitani, and Maya Angelou. They insisted that women create safe space and storytelling space while existing in the patriarch. Those womanist story spaces are still being carved out in spaces for insistent storytellers. Those justice story spaces are still being carved out. Those love story spaces are still being called out. Join us for a month of stories by women, about women, and for women. Join us for a look at unconditional love, open and affirming sanctuary, radically inclusive community, extravagantly welcoming church, and racial and social justice through the lens of Women’s History Month!
