MARCH, DANCE, AND TWIRL WITH GLIDE MEMORIAL CHURCH

Glide Memorial Church is an independent church dedicated to unconditional love, radically inclusive faith and social justice.  Founders, Reverend Cecil Williams and Janice Mirikitani have been leaders in the struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights in San Francisco since the 1960s, when Reverend Williams began performing same-sex unions and Mirikitani advised and defended LGBT street youth.  Glide’s participation in the San Francisco Pride Parade goes all the way back to the parade’s beginning in 1970. Glide continues to be one of the few churches that consistently march in the SF Pride Parade year-after-year.
