Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff Returns to Host The Annual Power of One Charity Lunch Auction Powered by eBay Benefitting San Francisco’s GLIDE
San Francisco, CA — GLIDE is proud to announce the second year of the Power of One Charity Lunch Auction with Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff. Since its launch in 2000, this one-of-a-kind auction has raised over $54.5 million to support GLIDE, a nationally recognized center for social justice dedicated to fighting systemic injustices, creating pathways out of poverty and crisis, and transforming lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Benioff’s visionary business leadership, transformative philanthropy, and belief that business is the greatest platform for change made him the perfect choice. This charity lunch offers a rare opportunity to connect with a leader who has helped shape business and technology — and is defining the future with agentic AI. Last year’s auction raised an impressive $1.5 million for GLIDE.
Bidding for this year’s Power of One Charity Lunch Auction opens at 7:30 p.m. PDT on May 25, 2025, and closes at 7:30 p.m PDT on May 30, 2025. The winning bidder—and up to seven guests—will have the unique opportunity to join Benioff for an exclusive lunch. The opening bid is $25,000, and all participants must pre-qualify. 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit GLIDE.
