Our lawyer-staffed drop-in center in San Francisco offers free services for those typically left out of the legal system.

Clients should check in at the front desk and then head to the Sanctuary where you will be assigned a client number. A Justice and Diversity Center’s Legal Advice and Referral Clinic or (LARC) volunteer will help you complete an intake form, after which, a volunteer lawyer will call you for your legal consultation.
*Closed on federal and state holidays.
These consultations are limited in scope. We will provide legal advice for the duration of your appointment only. No ongoing lawyer-client relationship is created.
GLIDE is delighted to announce its partnership with the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of the Bar Association of San Francisco. to help our clients access legal services. Legal help from the JDC will be available for our clients on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, starting February 19th of 2025.
Our legal clinic will cover immigration, family law and housing law, but grow over time depending on our client’s needs. Lawyers from the JDC also specialize in criminal, personal injury, employment, and general civil litigation. Attorneys may also cover issues of probate, bankruptcy and other areas as well.
In order of sign-up form completion, volunteers will take clients to meet with a lawyer from the JDC. We are delighted to be deepening our community’s access to a vital resource: justice.
On the Partnership with the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of the Bar Association of San Francisco: “The staff and volunteers of the JDC do incredible work to ensure that low-income people have access to quality legal services. At GLIDE, we see how legal issues concerning housing, immigration, and employment derail the lives of our community members and create significant barriers to stability and success. We are so excited to partner with the JDC to provide these essential services.”
